Project Maitland High

Refugees are able to get English lessons after school hours at this high school. About 18 % of the students at the high school are refugees and come from countries like Angola, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. The students speak mostly French so during this project the students are intensively educated in the English language. Also the integration of the students is a very important issue at these classes. Volunteers are needed to assist the teachers and work intensively with small groups of students.
